Tour 2. EPIROS-ZAGORIA ( 8 Days )

On arrival at Athens Airport meet and assistance to collect the car. Direct departure to Delphi (190 kms - 3½ hours driving). If already in Athens, the rental car will be delivered to you at your hotel for a leisurely departure to Delphi.

Overnight in Delphi

In the morning visit the archaeological site and museum of Delphi. Afterwards drive via Amfissa, Lamia and Karditsa to Kalambaka (202 kms - 4 hours driving).

Overnight in Kalambaka

In the morning visit the monasteries at Meteora. In the afternoon drive on to Metsovon, one of Greece’s most picturesque small towns. (58 kms - 2 hours driving)Overnight in Metsovon

Departure to the famous villages of Zagoria, Tsepelovo or Aristi (125 kms -2½ hours driving). Visit the West Zagoria villages, Mikro and Megalo Papingo and the Eastern Zagoria villages, Tristeno and Grevenitsa.                            Overnight in Tsepelovo or Aristi

Visit the Central Zagoria villages of Vitsa and Monodendri, the starting point for hikers wishing to walk the Vikos Gorge as far as the Voidomatis Springs.

Overnight in Tsepelovo or Aristi

Departure to Ioannina with its lovely scenery and historic monuments making for some fascinating sightseeing.Visit the castle, old city, archaeological museum and the lake with its islet.

Overnight in Iaonnina

Departure during the day to Athens (450 km - 6 hours driving), via Arta, Amfilochia, Antirion (ferry) to Rion, Corinth (Canal of Corinth).

Overnight in Athens

Collection of rental car at your hotel if you wish to stay on in Athens or travel to the Greek Islands by ferry. Alternatively, drive to Athens Airport and drop off the rental car before your departure flight.
