Tour 1. METEORA MONOSTERIES

 
Meteora Monasteries
Day 1.  Athens to Kalambaka

 

Transfer from Athens to Delphi. Two hours at leisure to stroll in the village and enjoy the picturesque scenery from the slopes of Mt Parnassus. Enjoy a "Greek coffee" and then depart for Kalambaka passing through villages and towns of Central Greece. NB: Visits to the Archaeological site and the Museum in Delphi are not included.
 
Meteora
Day 2.  Meteora Sightseeing - Athens

 

Visit Meteora and enjoy a unique and most impressive scenery with ageless Monasteries containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between Heaven and Earth atop huge rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (visit the Leonidas Monument) and Kammena Vourla. Arrival back to Athens early evening.
